Description

A full-time position for a section chief for palliative and hospice medicine is now available in Pennsylvania. The chief role is a network-wide role. It will also include oversight of staff, programmatic growth and evolution, population health strategy, and many other exciting elements. Responsibilities will include an 80/20 split of clinical and administrative time and oversight of a team of physicians and advanced practice clinicians. The new chief will have responsibility for the section’s clinical operations and educational mission and hold a leadership position within the Department of Medicine. Academic appointment is available. Candidates must be board certified palliative medicine physicians and have at least five years of experience.

This position is an 800-bed main campus and is located one hour from Philadelphia and 90 minutes from New York City.
