An orthopedic surgery residency program in California needs founding program director. Develop an orthopedic surgery residency program that is planned to start in 2021 or 2022 with 10 residents (2 per year). This role will be 50 percent administration, evaluation, teaching, resident precepting, and scholarship of the residency program. The other 50 percent will be patient care. Candidates must have a minimum of four years of clinical practice experience in the specialty post-residency/fellowship, and a minimum of two years of experience as an associate program director of an ACGME-accredited orthopedic surgery program.
This hospital-employed position is offering a salary plus incentives/bonuses and additional stipend.
