For the eighth straight year, CHG Healthcare, CompHealth's parent company, has been named to Fortune magazine’s list of “100 Best Companies to Work For,” which recognizes companies that have exceptional workplace cultures. This year, CHG ranks No. 20. Each year, hundreds of companies apply for this recognition, which requires an anonymous employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about company programs and practices. Applications are evaluated based on a company’s credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. CHG’s commitment to its core value of Putting People First creates a culture where employees feel supported at all levels of the organization. All company decisions are made with the best interests of our people in mind, resulting in an atmosphere of respect, caring, support, and fun where employees feel free to be themselves and are passionate about the work they do. The company offers its employees a variety of unique perks, including:
Difference Makers Award — Employees nominate peers who make a significant difference in their communities. Last year, four finalists and their guests joined the CEO on a company-sponsored service project and safari in Kenya. This year, CHG will send six Difference Makers to Kenya for another company-sponsored humanitarian trip. Volunteer Time Off — Each year, CHG employees receive eight hours of paid time off to volunteer at a nonprofit of their choice. In 2016, employees used more than 6,000 hours of VTO to serve in the community. Free Onsite Health Clinics – Employees and their families receive free onsite healthcare, including primary care services, health coaching, and disease management. Employee Compassion Fund — Funded by employees, for employees, the CHG Compassion Fund provides need-based grants to employees facing financial hardship. Thanks to employee donations and fundraising events like the Compassion Fund 5K, CHG was able to award 29 grants, totaling $40,000, to help team members who fell on hard times last year.
CHG Healthcare has also ranked on Fortune’s list of Best Workplaces for Parents, Millennials, Women and Giving Back and was recently named as a Best Staffing Firm to Work For by Staffing Industry Analysts. Want to join our CHG family? Check out the open jobs on our careers page.
