CompHealth is proud to enter its second year of partnership with the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) Center for Healthcare Leadership and Management (CHLM), providing PAs (physician assistants) with professional development resources, career guidance, and job search support. This partnership continues at a pivotal time for the PA profession, one of the fastest growing in healthcare, which is expected to increase 30 percent by 2024. This year, CompHealth will build on its commitment to provide PAs individualized job search assistance through CHLM’s new online tool, RecruitMe. The free tool allows PAs to upload their customized career preferences, which CompHealth will use to assist PAs in their job search. Results from AAPA’s 2016 Salary Survey show that more than one in four PAs report that the way they found their most recent job was through an online job board or search tool. Partnering with CompHealth expands the RecruitMe tool’s efficacy by connecting PAs to one of 100 CompHealth career consultants dedicated to finding a tailor-made job for each PA. CompHealth offers a variety of benefits at no cost to PAs, including:
  • Thousands of short and long-term jobs across the nation, in virtually every specialty
  • A dedicated, personal recruiter who can access individual career needs to find the best fit
  • Expert CV evaluation, interview preparation, compensation negotiation, and in-house credentialing and licensing teams
  • Partnerships with nationwide organizations to help relocating PAs transition comfortably to new communities
  • Paid private housing, travel, transportation, comprehensive malpractice coverage, employment benefits, and 401(k) matching for locum tenens PAs

“We love placing PAs in locations where they can make big differences in the lives of patients and facilities. It is our honor to again partner with AAPA, which supports these same goals,” said Mike Freeman, vice president at CompHealth. “Our ability to place PAs in locum tenens and permanent positions across the country can impact the lives of patients nationwide and with the AAPA’s help, that impact will keep growing.” Check out our open jobs or visit why CompHealth to learn more about the benefits of working with CompHealth.
