The Tax Deadline Cometh

Are you worried about whether you will be able to file your tax returns on time? If so, you are like many travelers who have difficulty finding time to sort through all of their documents. If this is the case, you can file for an extension. Extensions allow you to extend the filing deadline to October, but there is a catch -- you must have your taxes paid by the normal deadline.
Extensions do not allow you additional time to pay any taxes that you might owe. Also, if you do file for an extension, don't forget to file with each state that expects a return from you. Filing a federal extension does not cover every state as many states have their own forms for extensions.
