Description

An exciting hospitalist opportunity is now available in Maine. The typical schedule is 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off. The average patient census per physician during the day is 5 to 7 admissions per day on average and a total daily average of 21 patient. Night admissions are 1 to 2. The incoming physician must be comfortable with critical care to at least start management and stabilize even if the patient is to be transferred. The preferred procedures are stress test, thoracentesis, and paracentesis. They welcome physicians that are board certified, or board eligible with a clear path and timeline to certification.

This position is in the gorgeous coastal area of Maine. You will be one hour of Portland, ME and two hours to Boston, MA. Portland, ME is known for incredible restaurants, vibrant art scene, sailing community, hiking, and fishing.
