The hospital is located in a central Pennsylvania community with a population of 50,000 and service area over 300,000. It is also located near larger cities in the region. Pittsburgh is 2 hours, a short 3-hour drive to Baltimore or Washington, DC and Philadelphia a 3.5-hour drive. Several highly rated colleges and universities in the region. Recreational activities include hiking, biking, paddling, and skiing. Many sports venues, amusement parks, nature centers, and much more.
