Medical ICU: average 10 patients, Surgical ICU: average 20 patients
Hospital setting with medical and surgical ICUs
Resident support available during night shifts
Central lines done by IR or at bedside with CVC cart available
RT and anesthesia handle intubations
Protocols include sepsis, stroke, and sedation for ventilators
