Description

My client is seeking an Ambulatory Pediatric Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join its outpatient cancer and blood disorders institute. This 100% clinical role focuses on caring for pediatric hematology/oncology patients in an ambulatory/infusion clinic setting, working closely with pediatric oncologists and multidisciplinary teams to manage chemotherapy regimens, supportive care therapies, and oncology medication optimization. Additional responsibilities include medication counseling for patients and families, supporting clinical research and quality initiatives, and precepting pharmacy students and residents. This is a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no weekends, offering excellent work-life balance within a highly specialized pediatric oncology program.

Candidates must have a PharmD and meet one of the following: PGY1 plus several years of oncology pharmacist experience, PGY2 Oncology Residency, PGY2 Pediatric Residency with oncology exposure, or at least five years of dedicated oncology pharmacy experience. Pediatric experience is helpful but strong oncology experience is the primary requirement. Candidates must be eligible for Delaware pharmacist licensure prior to starting and will be expected to obtain BCOP certification when eligible.
