Clinical Pharmacist
JOB-3248926
A nationally recognized, not-for-profit academic health system in northeastern Indiana is seeking an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist to support its Family Medicine Residency clinic. This is a Monday–Friday, daytime-only role (no weekends or call) where you’ll work directly with patients, providers, and residents in a highly collaborative teaching environment. This position begins with a mix of Family Medicine and Anticoagulation clinic coverage before transitioning into a full-time Family Medicine role (within the first year of employment), offering strong clinical growth, teaching opportunities, and the ability to practice at the top of your license within a rapidly expanding ambulatory care program.
Candidates must have a PharmD and PGY1 residency training (will consider current residents) with an interest in family medicine and teaching. Board certification (BCACP) is required within 2 years of hire. PGY2 ambulatory care training and BCACP are preferred but not required. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for education, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Retail experience alone is not sufficient unless combined with residency training.
This opportunity is based in a thriving mid-sized Midwest city known for its low cost of living, excellent schools, and family-friendly atmosphere. The area offers a great mix of outdoor recreation, cultural amenities, and career growth—making it an ideal place to build both a rewarding career and a high quality of life.
