JOB-3251219
A nationally accredited health system in upstate New York is seeking an Ambulatory Care Oncology Clinical Pharmacist to join its growing infusion/cancer center team. This is a Monday–Friday, daytime-only role (no weekends, no call) offering a unique blend of clinical oncology work and hands-on operational responsibilities. You’ll play a key role in medication management, compounding, and supporting providers with clinical decision-making—while also having the opportunity to grow with an expanding ambulatory oncology program.
Candidates must have a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and be eligible for New York licensure. Post-degree hospital and/or oncology pharmacist exposure required. Residency training and dedicated oncology experience are a plus but not required. Candidates must be willing to obtain Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) within 2 years of eligibility. Ideal candidates are inquisitive, teachable, and comfortable working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
This opportunity is located in a scenic upstate New York community at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The area offers a lower cost of living, four-season outdoor recreation, and easy access to larger metro amenities within a short drive. With nearby lakes, hiking, and a vibrant arts scene, it’s an ideal setting for those seeking both professional growth and a high quality of life.
