Description

Join a thriving healthcare community one hour outside of Kansas City, MO where your expertise in infectious disease will make a meaningful impact across a broad regional patient population. This opportunity offers a guaranteed earning potential of $300,000 over your first two years, combined with a balanced Monday – Friday schedule and shared call. Located just one hour from Kansas City, you will enjoy convenient access to big-city amenities while benefiting from a significantly lower cost of living and a more relaxed pace of life.

This position provides a dynamic 50-50 split between inpatient and outpatient care. You will assess adult patients, collaborate closely with infectious disease pharmacists and microbiologists to identify organisms, and develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans. In the hospital setting, you will partner with attending providers on acute management and work alongside care management teams to coordinate discharge plans, particularly for patients requiring long-term IV antibiotics.

In the outpatient clinic, you will follow patients post-discharge, manage ongoing IV antibiotic therapy, and treat a wide range of infectious diseases, including active tuberculosis. Strong communication skills and thorough documentation in the electronic health record are essential as you play a key role in continuity of care and patient outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced physicians and ID fellows seeking a supportive environment where they can grow professionally while making a real difference in the Midwest.

If you are passionate about patient care and ready to take the next step in your career, send your CV to kim.constantin@comphealth.com.
