Looking for a schedule that gives you half the year off? A respected independent, not-for-profit healthcare system in Southeastern Virginia is seeking a 7on/7off Night Shift Clinical Pharmacist to join its teaching hospital. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a highly clinical inpatient environment featuring an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency Program, advanced technology, a newly renovated pharmacy, and a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Pharmacists play an active role in medication management, clinical interventions, pharmacokinetic monitoring, provider education, and patient care initiatives while enjoying the work-life balance that only a week-on/week-off schedule can provide.
Candidates must possess a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and be eligible for Virginia pharmacist licensure prior to starting. New PharmD graduates are encouraged to apply, while pharmacists with prior hospital experience, residency training, BCPS certification, or previous night shift experience are especially encouraged to explore this opportunity. This is a permanent 7on/7off night shift position offering the chance to build valuable acute care experience within a supportive teaching hospital environment.
