12-hour shifts — 7 am – 7 pm or 7 pm – 7 am beeper call
3 – 4 shifts per week or full-time coverage
15 – 20 patients per shift
Inpatient pediatric surgery setting
Pediatric patients only — maximum age 16 – 17 years
BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS/APLS certifications required
Night call requires provider within 10 minutes or onsite
Weekday and weekend shifts required
