Psychiatrist Needed in Southern California; Inpatient and Outpatient Role

Quick Facts

  • Dual inpatient and outpatient schedule; roughly 20 hours each per week
  • Inpatient mornings limited to new intakes only; approximately 3 – 4 per day
  • NPs handle all follow-up care and medication management on inpatient units
  • Outpatient clinic 4 days per week; no Friday afternoons
  • New patient appointments 40 – 60 minutes; 20-minute follow-ups in outpatient setting
  • Call rotation is 1 in 4 weekends; NPs see patients and MDs handle legal holds only
  • Multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and therapists
  • Board-certified or board-eligible candidates welcome; NP supervision required
