Mon – Fri; three 12-hr shifts or four 10-hr days (preferred)
Rotating call — 1 weekend/month and 1:4 weeknight call
100% pediatric patient population
OR and rounding in a hospital setting
First assist team — 1 fellow, 1 tech, and 3 PAs on staff
Pediatric cardiac surgical first assist experience required
Procedures include heart transplant, VAD, ECMO, PDA ligation, and more
~2 pulmonary artery reconstruction cases/month — procedures exceed 24 hrs
