Quick Facts

  • 8 hours/day, Monday – Friday — on-call one night per week
  • 16 – 18 total encounters per day
  • 4 – 6 new patients per day — 12 – 16 follow-up visits per day
  • Inpatient facility — hospitalized adolescent patients ages 13 – 17
  • Supported by two APRN/PMHNP on unit
  • Attending for up to 44 patients — 14 – 18 cases managed independently
  • Restrictive intervention orders and admit/discharge orders required
  • At least 12 months of experience as a physician in specialty required
