Quick Facts

  • Shifts available: day 7am - 7pm, day 7am - 3pm, admitting 12pm - 8pm, night 7pm - 7am
  • 12hr day shift: 15 - 18 patients; 8hr day shift: 10 - 14 patients
  • Admitting shift: 4 - 6 admissions; night shift: 5 - 8 admissions overnight
  • Hospital setting
  • ICU coverage required — ventilator order adjustments may be needed
  • Codes attended — ED physician leads; hospitalist assists
  • Busy season coverage — approximately 20 shifts open per month
  • Minimum 5+ shifts per month expected
