A Facility in Ohio Is Looking for a Locums Psychiatrist

Quick Facts

  • Monday schedule — 7 am – 5 pm, 10hr shift, 8 days on / 6 days off
  • 6 – 10 patients per shift on acute child & adolescent inpatient unit
  • Inpatient psychiatric unit — coverage required daily including weekends
  • APP is 1st call — provider is 2nd call with extremely low callback burden
  • Fellowship required — must be board certified in child & adolescent psychiatry
  • Familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion, restraint, pharmacotherapy
  • Vacancy coverage — long-term permanent search
  • Must be comfortable supervising Advanced Practice Providers (3 PA/NPs on staff)
