Quick Facts

  • Schedule: M-F, 8 am – 5 pm, four 10s, full time 35 – 40 hrs/week
  • 1:4 call ratio — roughly one day/week and one weekend/month
  • Weekends: Friday 7 am – Monday 7 am beeper call
  • 10 patients per shift
  • Inpatient and outpatient setting — 2 clinic days and 2 OR days per week
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • First assist certification required
  • Vein harvest — Maquet equipment; open radial or harmonic scalpel technique
