Quick Facts

Hospital hours 7 am – 5 pm Mon-Fri plus nights and weekend call
5 – 10 hospital inpatients per physician per day
Outpatient clinic maybe 2 four-hour sessions each week
Can incorporate endoscopy time throughout the week
3 years GI fellowship required
1 year transplant hepatology training required
Academic experience preferred
Adult hospital and endo lab 100%
