Average 10 orthopedic inpatients plus ED trauma call coverage
6 patients per shift with approximately 5 phone consults per day

Joint revision and repair capabilities needed
ED trauma coverage including hip fractures and simple fractures
15-minute call response time with beeper coverage
10% callback rate with 0-4 hour callback range
