Coverage 2 – 3 weeks per month — minimum 6-month commitment
4x10s or 5x8s per week — rotating schedules considered
Weekend rounding required — no call responsibilities
Adults only — inpatient CVICU, no outpatient responsibilities
CVICU experience required — high-acuity cardiothoracic surgery service
Procedures: chest tube, epicardial pacing wire removal, ECMO, LVAD, Impella
Level I Trauma facility — broad and comprehensive case mix
