Quick Facts

Mon – Fri 7 am – 7 pm (12hr shift); 7 on/7 off preferred schedule
Weekend call — approx. 4 hrs onsite, arrive 6 am for rounding
Weekday call 4:30 pm – 6 am; weekend call 5 pm – 5 am
8 – 10 inpatients per shift; avg. 8 – 10 patients seen per call
Rounding nurse available 5 am – 5 pm weekends for first-line calls
Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) — hemapro 2 technique required
First assist on cases; training new APPs on EVH required
High acuity cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and heart failure patients
