Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist Needed in New York

Quick Facts

  • Monday – Friday schedule with a 1:7 call rotation
  • Weekend rotation of 1:6 with APP support during weekend coverage
  • 30-bed adult inpatient unit with shared coverage with one other psychiatrist
  • Patient census of 13 – 15 patients per psychiatrist
  • Supported by a full-time Clinical Coordinator and Social Worker
  • Rotated psychiatric evaluations in the crisis unit among 5 psychiatrists
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in General Psychiatry required
  • Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry preferred but not required
