My client, a large healthcare organization in Alabama is seeking a Permanent Onsite Managed Care Manager to join their team. A Bachelor’s degree is required along with 10 years experience in the healthcare financial field and 5 years management experience. The facility is seeking a leader that can develop and optimize strategy through analysis of managed care contracts and A/R, understanding systemic issues at a payer level, and collaborating with all areas of the revenue cycle, to improve days to pay, collections % to net and reduction in audits and denials. This leader will report to the Director of Patient Financial Services and will have approximately 6 direct reports. This facility is located in a beautiful, historic area of Alabama providing a well-balanced mix of small-town comforts and large-city amenities. The city offers a low cost of living and excellent schools in addition to all kinds of outdoor activities.
