Quick Facts

Overnight shift — 7 pm – 7 am, Monday through Sunday
General pediatric ward daily census of 3 – 10 patients per day
Inpatient hospital setting
All inpatient procedures required — no NICU or PICU on site
NRP, PALS, and BLS certifications required
Level 1 newborn care — regular nursery and low-risk newborns
Approx. 20 – 30 births per month — assist with complications or C-sections
