Quick Facts

  • 1 – 2 weeks per month — scheduled clinical hours plus call
  • 8 – 12 patients per shift
  • Inpatient only — pediatric critical care setting
  • 24-hour call — rounding in morning, on call from hotel
  • Call ratio 1:1 — avg 5 phone consults per 24-hour period
  • Ventilation management, central lines, bronchoscopy, and more required
  • ECMO experience preferred — pediatric cardiology background a plus
