Quick Facts

  • Night shifts — 7 pm – 7 am, 12-hour shifts, 7 days on / 7 days off
  • 8 – 10 inpatient patients per shift
  • Inpatient hospital setting — ICU and stepdown rounding
  • High acuity patients — cardiac and thoracic surgical cases
  • Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) required — first assist on cases
  • In-house call at 1:3 ratio — 20-minute response time
  • OR emergency call coverage may be required on weekends
  • Ongoing assignment
