Quick Facts

  • 14-day stretches — 4 – 5 days/week clinic/OR with call
  • 24-hour call on non-clinic days; flexibility in days worked
  • 4 – 8 after-hours calls; 2 – 4 come-ins; 1 – 2 cases per call
  • Hospital-based general surgery position
  • B&B general surgery and upper/lower endoscopies required
  • Robotic surgery experience required or willingness to learn
  • Ongoing coverage potential if permanent hire is not secured
  • ATLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
