Quick Facts

  • 7 on / 7 off schedule — Saturday to Friday
  • Day starts around 7:30 am – 8 am, finishes between 3 pm – 5 pm
  • Rounding complete by 12 pm — multidisciplinary meeting at 12:30 pm
  • Adult inpatient psychiatry — ages 18+
  • 2 – 3 average daily admissions
  • 1 – 3 consults per day on the acute and med/surg floors
  • APRN shares call — locum covers remaining call nights
  • Admissions include depression, psychosis, substance abuse, and anxiety
