REFERRAL BONUSES

ALL AROUND

Rewards come full circle with our Double-Sided Referral Bonus.

Refer a Physician, NP, PA, rehab therapist, or lab technician, and you can both get a bonus up to $1,000, depending on profession. Plus, there’s no limit to how many referrals you can share or how many bonuses you can earn.

Share a good thing and get
rewarded, it’s that easy.

Let us know how to contact you and your referral via the form below, or give us a call at 800.453.3030. Once your qualified referral works the required amount of days, you’ll both receive your bonus.

The Fine Print

  1. Your referred candidate must start an assignment within 120 days of the application date associated with that referral. This 120 day requirement is not applicable to physicians.
  2. Payout bonus amounts vary by profession, as outlined below:
    1. Locums/travel assignments
      1. Physicians, NPs, and PAs: $1,000 for referrer and $1,000 for referred provider
      2. Therapy/rehab providers (PT, OT, SLP) and lab professionals: $500 for referrer and $500 for referred provider
  3. The referred candidate must accept, be placed, and have worked a locums/travel assignment for the required amount of days for both parties to be eligible for bonus payout. Work requirements vary by profession, as outlined below:
    1. Locums/travel assignments
      1. Physicians, NPs, and PAs: must work 20 days of an 8-week or longer assignment for CompHealth.
      2. Therapy/rehab providers (PT, OT, SLP): must work 50 days or longer for CompHealth.
      3. Lab professionals: 60 days or longer worked on assignment for CompHealth.
  4. CompHealth staff and family members of CompHealth office staff are not eligible for referral payments. CompHealth defines “family member” as those immediate family members who live in the home of the staff member — specifically, spouse, children (natural, adoption, or under legal guardianship), stepchildren, and dependents under the age of 24.
  5. Multiple bonuses will not be paid for the same referred individual, and the bonus will be awarded to the person listed on the form or application as the referring individual. A complete name, address, email, and phone number are required for the referring individual to be eligible.
  6. In a case of “reciprocal referring” (two new candidates applying and referring each other), only one referral bonus will be paid, to be split between the providers. Providers cannot refer themselves.
  7. If you qualify to receive a referral bonus while you are on assignment with CompHealth, you will receive your bonus automatically through your current payroll. Bonuses are processed and paid out within two weeks after completion of required days worked listed above in Item 3. If you qualify for the bonus but are not on an assignment at that time, you will be contacted by CompHealth to confirm your address before your referral bonus payment is mailed.
  8. In order for nonemployees to receive payment, they must submit a completed W-9 at the time the referral is made and will receive a Form 1099-MISC reporting the referral payment as taxable income by January 31 of the following year. There will be no tax withholding on these payments, but the recipient is responsible for his or her own taxes arising from the payment.
  9. Referral bonuses are taxable income for the recipients. The recipient is responsible for his or her own taxes arising from the payment.
  10. If the referring individual has been an employee in the current or immediately prior calendar year, or is scheduled for an assignment in the current year, the bonus will be subject to all applicable federal, home state, and local tax withholding. These payments will be reported on Form W-2.
  11. CompHealth reserves the right to terminate the referral program and amend or modify these rules without notice, at any time, and for any reason.
  12. There is no guarantee that the people you refer will be employed by us or offered work, as all hiring and placement decisions are at the discretion of CompHealth and our clients.
