It's nice to get validation for what we've known all along: CompHealth has the best people to help provide the best healthcare.
ModernHealthcare.com posted the winners of its 2012 list of Best Places to Work in Healthcare. CompHealth is among the 100 companies and organizations recognized. Modern Healthcare will reveal the ranked order of the winners on Oct. 9. The recognition program honors workplaces in healthcare that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients and customers with the best possible care, products and services.
JASPR published "Putting People First: Recruit and Retain Your Best Providers" by Allison Beer, vice president of CompHealth locum tenens. The article discusses how cultural fit, proper training and onboarding, and nurturing your physician staff all play into the process.
ModernMedicine published an insightful viewpoint from the president of CompHealth locum tenens, Melissa Byington, who sits on LocumLife's Editorial Advisory Board. Ms. Byington joined fellow industry thought leaders to weigh in on the Supreme Court ruling to uphold most of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the future of healthcare reform, and how locum tenens practice might be affected.
LocumLife magazine published, in its July/August issue, an article titled "Social Networking and the Mobile Life," which features CompHealth marketing director Tricia Warnken. "The top sites used are Facebook, Google and YouTube, and clearly as more of society is embracing it, I think physicians are embracing it as well," she says.
