Now imagine doing that work in Nome, Alaska, along the Bering Sea. This full-time Emergency Medicine opportunity offers a rare balance—intensity and stillness. Work a 4-week on / 4-week off schedule with 12-hour shifts, 4 – 5 days a week. True time away when you are off. Space to reset, travel, or simply breathe.
The pace? Surprisingly manageable—fewer than 25 patients per 24 hours. The compensation? Strong—$183.75/hour (~$315K annually), plus a $30K sign-on bonus, relocation, CME, covered airfare, and housing provided at a reduced cost.
This role is open to EM, IM, or FP physicians with emergency experience who are comfortable stepping outside the typical and into something more meaningful—both professionally and personally.
