Tips and questions to help you find a successful travel therapy assignment
Is travel work right for you? Occupational therapist Jackie Clark shares why she loves travel work:
“I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful experience I have had working with everyone at CompHealth. Though it was a lot of paperwork in the beginning, there was always someone there willing to assist in any way they could. They will do everything in their power to help you obtain your license, including paying all fees and sending all applications and paperwork.”
Kimberly C.,
Occupational Therapist
“I did try some other companies but came back to CompHealth. I've been in places where I don't know if I'm coming or going with that company. Never have I had that experience with CompHealth. Every single department is prompt, helpful, knowledgeable, and goes out of their way. When you have a bad day, they listen.”
Kimberly Young,
Respiratory Therapist
“There are countless experiences that I had, people that I met, places that I saw, that I couldn't imagine my life without those experiences. Some of my best friends were made through traveling, and there are so many unforgettable memories.”
Jasmine Van Dyke,
Physical Therapist
“I’ve been with CompHealth all these years because they follow up with me every week or so. When I’m not on assignment they’ll still stay in touch and help me to find jobs. They help me with the reimbursement for all my licenses, which are many. They also help with housing and benefits, so it’s just a great company to work with.”
Kelly Murphey,
Occupational Therapist
“I have worked with two other travel companies, just for one assignment each, but CompHealth is ten times better than either of the other two companies in regard to professionalism and consistency with staff. I think it’s really important having that consistency and having that person that you know is always there.”
Jennifer Frazier,
Physical Therapist

Pay varies based on specialty, location, and assignment length, but travel therapists often earn more than full-time staff therapists due to added stipends and bonuses.
