CompHealth's parent company, CHG Healthcare Services, has been named one of the country's 100 Best Companies to Work For by Fortune magazine. CHG ranks number 16 on the list, which recognizes companies that have exceptional workplace culture. This is the sixth straight year that CHG has made the list.

Each year, hundreds of companies apply for this recognition, which requires an anonymous employee survey and an in-depth questionnaire about company programs and practices. Applications are evaluated based on a company's credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.

"It's our people who make CHG a great place to work," says CEO Scott Beck. "The work they do each day makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the healthcare providers we help and the patients they serve. That's what our culture is all about."

CHG is committed to Putting People First by ensuring all company decisions are made with the best interests of the employees in mind. The result is an atmosphere of respect, caring, support and fun. Employees feel free to be themselves and are passionate about the work they do.

In the spirit of Putting People first, CHG offers unique benefits including:
  • Volunteer Time Off — Each employee receives paid time off to volunteer in the community. In 2014, CHG employees performed more than 3,700 hours of service.
  • Free Onsite Health Clinics — Employees and their families receive free healthcare, including primary care services, health coaching, and disease management.
  • Employee Network Groups — Employees are welcome to use company resources to form clubs or groups based on their personal interests. More than 800 employees participate in a CHG network, ranging from an LGBT pride group to a gun club.
CHG employs more than 1,700 people in seven offices, including Salt Lake City, Utah; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Boca Raton, Fla.; Durham, N.C.; Norwalk, Conn.; Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Edmond, Okla.

In 2014, CHG's healthcare staffing companies placed more than 11,000 medical providers across the United States. These professionals provided care to approximately 17.5 million people.
