Survey Says?
September 7th, 2012 1 Min readEarlier this year, CompHealth surveyed 1,000 physicians nationwide to gauge their awareness and perception of locum tenens. We were pleased to learn that nearly all physicians are familiar with locum tenens and have had positive experiences either working with a locums physician or working as a locums physician.
In addition, we asked questions about stress, patient care and work/life balance. I've discussed a portion of these findings in my prior posts -- why physicians need more sleep, the upside of locums for residents, how to reduce stress -- and am excited to present our results in their entirety. You'll gain insight on the benefits and challenges of practicing locum tenens and learn how they are making a positive difference in healthcare.
Conducting surveys such as this one allows us to gain deep and insightful data that helps us to be better partners and consultants to our physicians. Our efforts continue, as we just wrapped up additional survey work this past month. Check back for updates on those results, and enjoy reading this report in the meantime!
